scientific notation /exponents

Hello there im posting my first REAL blog thing.......... ok im gonna get started now. First of all i'm gonna start with scientific notation. Scentific notatation is basicly a easy way to write BIG numbers,you do it by taking 1,240,000,000,000 for example,take the first numbers that arent zero {124} and drop the zeros and put a decimal before the first number {1.24} thats your first number [1.24 x _ ]. Next you count the zeros there is 11 in this case.So the exponent is 10 to the 11'th power.
