solvin' algebratic expressions-IS FUN!

Im gonna teach you how to do algebratic expressions! YAY! ok i got some food so now im PUMPED! Ok im gettin off topic.

Some things you have to know:

1.)The letter in the equasion {x+7=11} is called the varyable

how to do it with addition :

1.) you start with an EASY problem like this: 7+x=11

2.)you find the smallest number: 7 then you put it under both whole numbers with a - in this case: 7+x=11

-7 -7

3.) you see 7-7 cancels out so you have to do 11-7=4

4.) now you've got your answer! x=4

How to do it with subtraction:

1.) you start with ANOTHER EASY easy problem: 6-x=10

2.) you find the smallest whole number AGAIN: 6 than you put the numbers under the numbers with a - in this case: 6-x=10

-6 -6

3.) 6-6 cancels out so you bhave to do 10-6=4

4.) now youve got youre answer x=4

You think thats easy? well it gets harder- but not MUCH harder! [evil laugh] hahahahahahahahahah

Now we're gonna do it with DIVISON and MULTIPLICATION

first multiplication:

1.) first you've got a problem like this 7xp=14

2.) next you find the smallest whole number wich is 7 so you put it under each number 7xp=14

/7 /7

3.) since 7/7 cancels out you have to do 7/14=2

4.) Your Answer! p=2

Now... last but not least... DIVISION!!!!!!

1.) you have a problem like this: 2/p=4

2.)next you find the smallest whole number wich is 2 than you put it on each side with a / sign 2/ 2/p=4 /2

3.) 2x2 cancels out so you have to do 2/4=2

4.) the answer is p=2

WERE DONE RIGHT!- WRONG
